The “Hotline Bling” rapper is no stranger to changing up his hair, but he certainly turned heads after debuting a new hairstyle on social media.
Drake shared a mirror selfie on October 15 that sees him rocking a double denim ensemble, a nod to his Canadian roots, which he paired with an oversized vintage football jacket. To complete his look, the 37-year-old sported a new pair of all-white Air Force Ones. However, it was her pigtails that stole the show.
After all, the two ponytails were braided at the ends and finished with blue bubble hair clips at the end.
Fans quickly took to social media to react to Drake’s hair. After account X, formerly Twitter pop base shared the photo writing: “Drake surprises with his new appearance”, many disagreed.
One person asked: “Why does she look like that girl from Polar Express?” and another saying, “stunned is not the way to describe this.” Many users also raised the question: “Stun where?”
In recent years, Drake has changed his hair frequently. After years of rocking a shortcut, the Degrassi alum started wearing his hair in braids. On occasion, the “Best I Ever Had” singer has worn colorful beads on the ends of his braids. In sweet father-son moments, Drake has combined his braids with those of his 7-year-old son Adonis.
The last look is a change from the hair she wore during Adonis SpongeBob SquarePants Themed Birthday Party. In photos, shared in a series of Instagram posts on October 13, Drake sports braids while posing with the birthday boy, who shows off his blonde curls.
In honor of the celebration, Drake captioned a photo carousel featuring a series of photos of him and Adonis posing in front of a SpongeBob SquarePants backdrop, “Big Don.”
Drake, who shares Adonis with his ex Sophie Brussaux, wrote another sweet tribute and shared more photos of his growing son from his birthday celebration writing, “Baby goat, you’re different.”
