MADRID 16 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Lebanese Red Cross reported this Wednesday that two of its workers have been slightly injured by shrapnel in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the city of Juaiya, in the south of Lebanese territory.
As reported by the Lebanese Red Cross on its social networks, two ambulances from the organization traveled to the Juaiya area around 4:30 p.m. (local time) after a previous attack. The organization has assured that it has coordinated this movement with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
Shortly after the Lebanese Red Cross teams had arrived at the scene, the area was attacked again, and two of its workers were slightly injured by shrapnel, which is why they were transferred to a nearby hospital.
The organization has highlighted that, after carrying out the appropriate medical examinations, none of the injured are in danger.
