The president of the United States, Joe Biden, has announced a new delivery of economic aid to Ukraine, this time worth 425 million dollars (about 390 million euros), as he has conveyed to his counterpart Volodimir Zelensky through a phone call and on the eve of traveling to Germany.
This new shipment once again includes air defense systems, ground-to-air munitions, armored vehicles and other critical equipment to “meet the urgent needs” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, says the statement released this Wednesday by the White House.
Both have talked about continuing with plans to intensify this type of deliveries in cooperation with the rest of Ukraine’s partners in order to make its victory against Russia possible.
Finally, President Biden has announced that in November he will host a virtual meeting of international leaders to coordinate these types of deliveries.
