The EU-LAC Digital Alliance High-Level Policy Dialogues on Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will take place from 5 to 6 November 2024, at the ECLAC headquarters in Santiago, Chile.
Co-chaired by the European Union and the Republic of Chile, these bi-regional dialogues will bring together high-level government officials, representatives of the private sector, civil society and academia from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and the EU and its States. members.
The dialogues will contribute to the exchange of experiences, highlighting good practices from both LAC and the EU, and promoting convergence in key areas in the field of connectivity and AI.
Its objective is to work towards a common understanding of joint bi-regional priorities, develop a roadmap for future actions and agree on concrete activities and results before the 2025 EU-CELAC Summit.
The two parallel dialogues on AI and connectivity will further strengthen synergies with the 9th eLAC Ministerial Conference on November 7-8, organized by the Government of Chile.
