Houthis celebrate the death of four Israeli soldiers in a Hezbollah attack

MADRID 14 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Supreme Political Council established by the Houthi rebels in Yemen, Mahdi al Mashat, celebrated this Sunday the death of four Israeli soldiers following the attack by a drone from the Lebanese Shiite militia party Hezbollah against a military base in Binyamina, between Haifa and Tel Aviv, which has also left seven seriously injured.

“(Al Mashat) blesses Hezbollah’s qualitative operation that has led to the death and injury of dozens of Zionist soldiers (…) We prostrate ourselves in admiration before the legendary heroism of the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) “reads a statement from the Houthi president on his Telegram channel.

Likewise, he has highlighted the “unprecedented” lessons that they are showing Israel about “firmness, perseverance and high performance in combat”, recalling that the death of its military leadership and the group’s general secretary, Hasan Nasrallah, “does not mean the end of the battle.”

Hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah broke out just over a year ago when the militia launched projectiles against Israeli territory in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and after Hamas had attacked Israel, leaving almost 1,200 dead and 240 hostages, which motivated the bloody Israeli response, which already leaves more than 42,200 dead.
