Zelensky appeals to his international partners and asks for financial help from those who cannot provide weapons

Oct. 13 () –

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, celebrated this Saturday that Ukrainian troops are firmly maintaining their positions in the Russian province of Kursk, despite the efforts of the Russian Army to push them back.

“As for the Kursk operation, there were attempts by Russia to push back our positions, but we maintain the defined lines,” the Ukrainian president said in his daily evening speech.

Regarding activity on the front, Zelensky regretted, however, the situation in the regions of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, where “conditions are very difficult and enemy actions are very harsh.” “But the resistance of our units is decisive. It is our resistance that makes the difference,” he argued hopefully in this regard.

Thus, the president has valued Ukraine’s industrial capacity, ensuring that its productive structure still allows it to manufacture “many more drones, more projectiles and military equipment than the country’s financial possibilities allow.”

In this context, Zelensky has once again appealed to the solidarity of his international allies, arguing that, “although there are many partners who for objective reasons cannot help them with the supply of weapons since they do not have their own weapons, they can. help(them) with financing.”

“In addition, some partners have special technologies that can be used in Ukraine at the moment, in defense, in our active actions. There is leadership among countries that unites others in the world for our joint production work,” he added. thanking “all those partners who have already invested in (the) Ukrainian defense industry allowing for a significant increase in its production.”
