MADRID 13 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least five people have been killed and a mosque has been destroyed in an Israeli night attack that occurred this Sunday in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese security sources.
The attack took place around 3:00 a.m. in Kfar Tebnit, about four kilometers southeast of Nabatiyé, where several homes in the population were also destroyed, according to what these sources told the newspaper ‘L’Orient le Jour’.
Security sources from the official Lebanese NNA agency have also confirmed new Israeli attacks in the municipalities of Tire and Bint Jbeil, in particular against the towns of Dahaira, Alma AlShaab and Naqura, some of which were also the target of bombings last Saturday.
It should be remembered that at least 15 people died in the Israeli attacks on Saturday, nine of them in the town of Masyra and another four in Barja. Two others died in a bombing raid on Bartroun.
For its part, the Israeli Army issued air alerts this Sunday for the communities of Acre and Nahariya, and confirmed the interception of five rockets over Haifa, so far without leaving any fatalities.
