At least five arrested in new protests against Netanyahu's government

MADRID 12 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least five people were arrested this Saturday when they participated in the blocking of a highway as part of the protests against the Government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On Saturday, more relatives of those kidnapped in the Gaza Strip have received the support of protesters who have blocked the Ayalon highway in the center of Tel Aviv, a regular point of protests, reports the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.

The Police have reported the arrests and that traffic has been reopened after expelling the protesters who had broken into the road on another Saturday.

“I’m sorry that a year has passed and we still haven’t gotten the government to reach an agreement” for the release of the hostages, said Einav Zangauker, mother of one of the hostages, Matan Zangauker.
