New night bombings by Israel leave at least one dead in southern Lebanon

Hezbollah claims at least six attacks, one of them against a base near Haifa

Last night, Israel launched several nighttime bombings in southern Lebanon that left at least one dead, accompanied by raids by its infantry and armored vehicles in several towns in the region, within the framework of the major offensive initiated by the Israeli Army. on October 1 against the militias of the Lebanese Shiite party Hezbollah.

Lebanese security sources are aware of at least 14 bombings in Bint Jbeil (eight in Aita el Chab and six in Chacra), in addition to attacks against the towns of Majdel Selm, Tayr Debba and Kounine, Kabriha, Dhaïra, Ramiyé, Majdel Zoun, Marwahine, Ainata, and Ghaziyé, where this person died.

The same sources also have evidence of raids in the towns of Aita el Chaab, Hanine, Kafra and Serbine, reports ‘L’Orient le Jour’.

For their part, Hezbollah militias have announced seven attacks against Israel in the last few hours, such as the one carried out against a group of soldiers in Jardah, another attack against the Souma base in the Golan, a third rocket bombardment at the Zarit barracks or a military post in Ma’ilia, opposite Yarine.

Hezbollah has also claimed responsibility for an attack on a military base near the Israeli town of Haifa, where there was “an explosive materials factory” but there is no evidence that the Israeli Army has issued an air alert in the area.
