The fact that a device with these characteristics embraces obsolescence does not go unnoticed. While many users have probably already replaced it with more modern versions, those who still use it have a notable piece of hardware limited by the software lifecycle.

A great mobile phone for the club of the forgotten

Despite its age, when we talk about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 we are referring to a mobile phone equipped with 12 GB of RAM256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a 4500 mAh battery. Its processor, a Snapdragon 865+, is perhaps one of the parts that can feel the passage of time the most.

This is not the case with its screen, which with a 7.6-inch OLED panel and a resolution of 2208×1768 pixels can still offer an excellent viewing experience, even more so considering that its refresh rate reaches up to 120 Hz. The device’s exterior screen, meanwhile, is 6.2 inches.

In the photographic section we find a triple rear camera whose sensors are 12 MP and two 10 MP selfie cameras. Now, as we say, this set of characteristics of a high end mobile from four years ago begins to lose importance when the mobile phone that includes them stops receiving updates.

The experience of an outdated terminal is noticeably degraded compared to that of an updated mobile, even with the same hardware. This means losing the ability to install new versions of the operating system, and use the latest features, as well as less application compatibility.
