His path began in his childhood, when he still lived in El Mante. “I was a problem child and they kicked me out in high school and I went to another school and they introduced me to the fact that I made music and from then on, I never let go.”commented the tenor in an interview for THE TAMPICO SUN.
As the years progressed, the now tenor He decided to make art his professionso he decided to study at the Faculty of Music and Arts of Tampico. “My idea when I came here was not to be a singer, it was to continue playing guitar, to have a little more, but my first encounter with what I do now was with the Faculty Orchestra. “I was very impressed to hear an orchestra with violins, with strings, which I had not had the pleasure of hearing, it was a very strong impact.”he described.
He discovered his potential as a singer
Cosme remembers that on one occasion he tried to imitate the singer Andrea Bocelli. While this was happening, the Mr. Elijah Slang He managed to hear him, and told him that he had potential to break into opera.
“He didn’t let me go, I joined him in the choir, I started working with him singing, and well, obviously that even more professional training came from other places”he shared.
