Iran cancels all flights scheduled for tonight

The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran announced this Sunday the cancellation of all flights scheduled between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Monday due to what they described as “operational limitations.”

“Flights from the country’s airports are canceled between 9:00 p.m. today, Sunday, October 6, and until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, October 7,” explained the organization’s spokesperson, Yafar Yazerlo, in statements reported by the London-based Persian-language network Iran International.

Yazerlo has indicated that passengers “should not worry about the cost of tickets” because “the airlines will behave in accordance with the instructions of the Civil Aviation Organization.”
