When will I have an alarm on my mobile, but smart?

Waking up in the morning is not easy, no matter what type of person you are. You may have so much energy that you spring out of bed. Maybe you need 5, 10 or 15 minutes just to wake up and stand up. Or, if you’re one of me, you need a few minutes of realization that you’re going to face another day of work.

For most of us what we really need is an alarm because otherwise we would be sleeping for hours and everyone uses their cell phone to wake up these days.

In a world where mobile phones claim to be full of artificial intelligence to make our lives easier, it is curious how AI has not reached the settings or system applications of mobile phones that would really benefit from AI.

How is it possible that my cell phone alarm continues to give me micro heart attacks every morning if I wear a smartwatch and smart rings all night? How is it possible that our cell phones don’t learn from our morning routines to know when we should set an alarm?

It surprises me that the most a cell phone lets you configure when setting an alarm is the time, days of the week, sound, volume or vibration. Nothing else. And yes, you can find applications more advancedbut as a general rule there is no true “smart alarm.”

If I have a ring or a smartwatch, my phone should wake me up intelligently

The rings and smartwatches measure our heart rate and blood oxygen throughout the night. They have algorithms that tell us the phases of sleep and whether it has been, in general terms, a good rest.

If you are using a mobile phone from Google, Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus/Oppo or any brand that has a smartwatch or smart bracelet, the alarm should synchronize with its sensors. I should wake up in that time range that you configure, but when it detects that it is better to wake up.

The watch may detect that I have moved a lot and there are 10 minutes left before the alarm does its job. Why not wake up at that time?

Luckily, there are independent developers who have thought about this situation and who, to improve the way we wake up, have created applications that do exactly everything that is asked of them.

Sleep Cycle for Android and for iOShas a function. Its function, in addition to showing statistics on how you sleep, uses the signals that your watch gives it to wake you up when your sleep is light. The best time to wake up instead of music, a melody or the noise of your neighbor.
