In November, it had been announced that the preview was going to be released this Tuesday at 9 am (Miami time) by the developer Take-Two Interactive Software, but it had to be brought forward. Rockstar reported through their social networks that the trailer for GTA VI had been leaked on the web, so the company decided to advance its publication on YouTube and called on its followers to watch the official trailer.
In the video you can see fragments of the game where its hyperrealism stands out in scenes of beaches and altercations in Vice City, the city where the events of the fifth installment of the saga took place, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, with its protagonist Tommy Vercetti, that awakens nostalgia in more than some of its followers who enjoyed this game in 2002.
The story would revolve around Lucía, accompanied by who seems to be her partner, in the best Bonnie and Clyde style, showing them entering various places to carry out robberies to the sound of the song “Love Is A Long Road” by Tom Petty. It is still unknown whether both characters will be playable and other dynamics that will surely be revealed by the company as the months go by.
The video on YouTube has so far reached more than 48 million views in just 10 hours, being the #1 trend worldwide on the platform. His followers have left thousands of comments while waiting for the release date, which would be during 2025, according to the trailer.
