September 28 () –
The president of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has denounced that Lebanon is “the new target” of Israel’s policy of “genocide, occupation and invasion.”
“Lebanon and the Lebanese people are the new target of Israel’s policy of genocide, occupation and invasion, which has been carried out since October 7,” Erdogan has published on his X account.
Erdogan specifically mentioned Israel’s “brutal attacks” in which “many Lebanese, including children,” have been killed over the past week. “No one with a conscience can accept, excuse or justify such a massacre,” he appealed.
The Turkish president has indicated the support of the “powers that pamper him and provide weapons and ammunition for his massacres” despite the fact that his actions “go against all humanity, human values and international law.”
For this reason, he has asked to “stop” Israel’s intention to “extend the policy of madness that it implemented in Gaza and Ramallah to Lebanon and other countries in the region” with a call to “take measures quickly” to all human rights organizations and defense of peace and stability, especially the UN Security Council. “We believe that the Islamic world should adopt a more decisive stance against these attacks,” he stressed.
