September 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed this Friday to have killed one of the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Syria, Ahmed Muhammad Fahd, after a bombing over the south of this country.
IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee reported that the airstrike took place last night. The killed target, he highlighted, is responsible for launching “numerous terrorist operations” against Israeli troops from southern Syria.
“Fahd has been eliminated while planning to carry out another terrorist plot in the immediate future. The IDF will continue to target and eliminate Hamas terrorists wherever they operate,” Adraee said.
This new bombing on southern Syria has taken place in parallel to the intense night of Israeli attacks against different places in Lebanon, including the suburbs of the southern area of Beirut, a stronghold of the Shiite militia party Hezbollah.
More than 40 attacks have fallen on the Lebanese capital, which dawned again under Israeli bombs this Saturday.
