Claro makes investments in digital solutions for US$200 million

Clear Colombia, within the framework of the Asobancaria Convention 2022, announced investments of US$200 million in the development and implementation of digital solutions for SMEs and large companies in the country, in the connection of 20 cities with a fiber optic network and in its recent alliance with Oracle.

The telecommunications company said it continues to strengthen its portfolio in cloud, analytics, big data, cybersecurity, IoT, mobile marketing and ITO, In addition to increasing its fiber optic coverage, it ratifies its purpose of contributing to improving the digital and technological competitiveness and productivity of Colombian companies, including those in the financial sector.

Likewise, and in line with the most recent alliance signed by Claro and Oracle, to bring to Colombia the first world-class public cloud, the telecommunications company advances investments close to US$$25 million in the adaptation of the infrastructure of the Triara Data Center, certified with ICREA V, in which the Oracle cloud will be hosted locally, with low latencies and the highest standards of information security and cybersecurity.
