The Gaza Strip’s Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that the military offensive launched by Israel following the attacks by Palestinian militias on October 7 has already left more than 41,200 Palestinians dead and more than 95,300 dead.
The death toll has risen to 41,206 and 95,337 wounded since October 7 after hospitals received 24 lifeless bodies and 57 injured in at least three attacks in the Palestinian enclave in the last 24 hours.
The Gazan Ministry of Health, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has warned in a statement that “there are victims under the rubble and on the roads that rescue teams cannot reach.”
Israel launched its offensive against Gaza following the attacks on 7 October, which left nearly 1,200 people dead and some 240 kidnapped. In addition to these casualties, more than 630 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in operations by Israeli forces or in attacks by settlers since that date.
