Three key concepts of the Citizen Income program
1. How to enter the program?
Renta Ciudadana does not have any registration process. Only the Department of Social Projection is responsible for the identification and selection of households that will receive the financial support. All those selected will have to keep the following records:
1- Have a SISBÉN IX registration or the Social Household Registry. They must be current.
2- If you belong to an indigenous group, you will have to be on the list validated by the Ministry of the Interior.

2. What is the amount of the Citizen Income deposits?
The value that this type of transfers will have It is close to $500,000 pesos, and will be settled every 45 days. Please also note that these types of amounts are regulated and include a table of values depending on the geographic location where the beneficiaries live.

3. What are the values that Renta Ciudadana manages?
Differentiated amounts
The entity determined a payment scheme for its respective beneficiaries, who will be able to receive between $220 thousand pesos and 500 thousand pesos on average. The value depends on the number of people living in the property and whether it is considered a priority area. The main objective to be fulfilled is to provide representative relief to vulnerable families with an economic amount that allows them to meet their respective needs.
The cycles
It is indicated that in cycles 1 and 2, tall Beneficiaries will receive the amount of $220 thousand or $500 for each cycle, considering the presence of parents for those under 6 to 18 years old.
Subsequently, in cycles 3 and 4, an amount of $500 thousand pesos will be given to mothers or fathers with children from 0 to 6 years old or who are disabled.
The amount may not exceed $500 thousand pesos per cycle, since the idea is to distribute this type of economic resources equitably, keeping in mind that there are two periods in which beneficiaries can receive an amount close to one million pesos.
