The Dutch executive, which includes the radical right, announced this Friday its Government program, which includes a package of asylum system reforms and a series of emergency measures to limit the entry of refugees, increase expulsions and request a clause of exclusion from European immigration legislation.
In the programme, published by the government team, the cabinet stresses that immigration is “the main factor” behind population growth in the Netherlands and demographic changes “put enormous pressure on the housing market, health care and education, as well as influencing social cohesion and security” national.
In the document, the coalition talks about taking “the first steps towards the strictest asylum regime ever implemented” in the country, to “reduce the influx of asylum seekers” and make the Netherlands one of the most vulnerable states in the world. “with the strictest admission rules” of the European Union“Crimes, incidents and nuisances caused by asylum seekers must cease”he points out.
