September 11 (Portaltic/EP) –
Google has announced that it will soon implement three new features in Chrome, with which it seeks to improve access and organization of tabs and with an option that will allow them to be grouped in its version for iOS.
The signature has recognized that “it can be frustrating” for the user to have to search through several open tabs to find the information that it needs, which is why, over the last year, it has introduced a series of functions in its browser that seek to tackle this inconvenience.
These have been implemented with the aim of facilitating access to content, as is the case of the one that allows you to organize similar tabs or compare products on different websites with Tab Compare; two features powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In this regard, he has indicated that he will soon expand the functions of his browser to improve the organization of Chrome and make it easier to use both on the smartphone and on tablet and PC.
First of all, he has indicated that tab groups, which are already available on PC and Android, will also be coming to their version for iOS devices. In this way, only you will need to access the tab grid on iPhone or iPad and choose the option ‘Add tab to new group’. Once grouped, they can be rearranged as desired.
Chrome will also soon allow you to save and sync groups of tabs so they’re automatically available across all your mobile and desktop devices. That way, you can “start a project in one place and pick it up again in another,” without losing continuity.
Finally, Google has indicated that it is experimenting with suggesting pages in its browser, to revisit them based on the tabs that have been opened on other devices. This way, it is considered to be “especially useful” when the user is browsing while in the office and wants to resume it at another time, for example, at home.
To do this, you won’t need to mark the page as a favorite or remember the exact URL, as Chrome will proactively suggest these pages on both Android, iOS and Desktop.
