Tiktok creators can share their stories on Facebook and Instagram

18 Aug. (Portaltic/EP) –

TikTok has expanded the options for sharing content from its platform with other rival social networks, now allowing creators to bring their stories to Facebook and Instagram.

TikTok stories are short videos, up to 15 seconds, that disappear after 24 hours of your publication. It is a recent novelty on this platform -in fact it is still in testing-, although it has been largely integrated into others such as Snapchat -where they came from-, Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram.

Content creators can share your stories on your profile, and with the new options that Tiktok has just implemented, show them also on rival social networks like Facebook and Instagram.

This novelty, which Tiktok has confirmed to TechCrunch, assumes the existence of more sharing options. In addition to the two social networks mentioned, it is also possible to share the stories on Reddit or even copy the link of this ephemeral video.

It should be noted that this new feature only affects stories and no to normal TikTok videos, that users can share as ‘reels’ on Facebook and Instagram.
