Although we all have the focus of attention on the AMD’s next generation of graphics, the RDNA 4these will not arrive until next 2025Meanwhile AMD continues with its current generation based on RDNA 3to which has been added a new reference for laptops, the AMD Radeon RX 7800M. A graphic that, as we have seen, will not be released on a laptop, but will do so on the OneXPlayer’s next eGPU, the OneXGPU2.
The AMD Radeon RX 7800M already appears on the AMD website where it has left see all its features. It has 60 CUs which make a total of 3,840 Stream Processors, 12GB GDDR6 VRAM with a memory bus of 192 bits and a bandwidth of up to 432 GB/s. It has also been added 48MB Infinity CacheAs for clock speed, it has been announced that it will run at 2.145 MHz and its consumption will be up to 180W.
AMD has just listed this new laptop graphics card on its website, along with all its specifications. For the moment the only known product that will feature this new AMD Radeon RX 7800M is This OneXGPU 2 external graphics cardthanks to which we had learned of its existence and some data before this silent launch. Let’s hope that AMD introduces this new GPU in laptopsas its performance has proven to be above even the NVIDIA RTX 4070.
