Hochtief (ACS) creates sustainable cloud provider in Germany

Specifically, Hochtief PPP Solutions will be responsible for building a cloud computing infrastructure based on a YEXIO data center network sustainable and locally integrated in Europe called Yorizon. To do this, it will create a joint venture together with the leading German manufacturer of servers and storage systems ThomasKrenn.AG.

The German company offers computing solutions in the high-performance cloud in a secure and sustainable way. The long-term goal of both companies is to build a network of sustainable, decentralized and locally integrated data centers in Europe. The first YEXIO series to be powered by Yorizon equipment will be launched in Heiligenhausin the German region of North Rhine-Westphalia in the summer 2025.

This is not the only project that both companies will launch, as they are already working on new sites. For the moment, Hochtief has already announced that the joint venture will acquire three more locations in the remainder of the year, with plans to continue increasing the number of locations by 2025.
