September 9 (Portaltic/EP) –
Apple has unveiled its new AirPods 4 wireless earphones, which feature a more comfortable design to fit all ears and a smaller case. They will be available from 149 euros and will reach 199 euros with noise cancellation system (ANC).
The company presented its new product catalogue on Monday at an event called ‘It’s Glowtime’, where it also announced the launch of its new iPhone 16 and wearables. Among them, the Apple Watch Series smartwatches.
Regarding the new AirPods 4, he said that he has worked on earphones with an improved design, three-dimensional (3D) modeling and more comfortable, as is their charging case (with USB-C port), which is the smallest of all the Air Pods models presented so far. This, in addition, promises more than 30 hours of charge.
This wearable, which supports gesture interactions with Siri, also incorporates noise cancellation (ANC), adaptive audio, transparent mode – to hear what is happening around the user – and spatial audio customization functionality.
In addition, it can be connected to all of the brand’s devices and is powered by the H2 chip, “with all the experiences that only Apple Silicon can offer,” as explained by those responsible at the presentation. These include voice isolation and interactions with Siri.
Apple also showed off AirPods Max, which will be available to users with a USB-C port and in orange, purple, blue, midnight and star white. These feature an Apple-designed dynamic transducer, “pro-grade” ANC, ambient sound mode, custom spatial audio with dynamic head tracking and adaptive EQ, among other features.
With nine microphones in total, three of them for voice pickup and eight for active noise cancellation. They are also powered by the H1 Chip in each earpiece and, in terms of autonomy, offer up to 20 hours of audio playback with ANC, while 5 minutes of charging allows up to 1.5 hours of audio playback.
Regarding the AirPods Pro 2, he also recalled that they have ANC technology and have been reformulated to prevent hearing problems, such as exposure to loud noises that can damage the user’s hearing. With the longest battery life in a model of this type, these headphones have been updated to include Hearing Assistance, so that users hear sounds and noises more clearly in the context in which they are.
