Google engineers are experimenting with major changes that could come to the Chrome browser in Android coming soon, and you’re likely to like them.
According to what they sayGoogle is thinking in launching a bottom toolbar in the Chrome browser On Android, a feature we have already seen in modern applications such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Netflix, among others.
Specifically, a flag has been found for this Chrome feature on Android called “bottom toolbar,” which has the description that “if enabled, the toolbar is displayed at the bottom.”
Of course, it will not be an easy implementation, Because for Chrome on Android to support a Bottom Toolbar, some settings and changes to the interface would have to be reviewed.
For example, The overall design of the application would need to be adjusted to support this bottom toolbar.so some elements such as the address bar, tabs and even navigation buttons could be moved.
Chrome developers have experimented with a bottom toolbar interface for some time now, but never implemented it in a stable version.
Interestingly, the Vivaldi and Opera browsers on Android allow you to configure an address bar and tabs at the bottom through the configuration settings.
