Google Meet allows you to check the amount of ambient noise it eliminates during the video call

17 Aug. (Portaltic/EP) –

google-meet Now allows you to check the amount of ambient sound that noise cancellation manages to eliminate during the video call, a function available with a new voice indicator.

The Noise Cancellation in Meet eliminates background sounds from the video call, such as the voices of colleagues or traffic and construction outside that can sneak into the room, allowing the user to focus on the conversation and the other participants clearly hear your voice.

The technology company has introduced a voice indicator which, when noise cancellation is on, lets you know the amount of ambient noise it removes and prevents it from sneaking into the callas reported in the Workspace’s blog.

This voice indicator has been implemented this Tuesday, although it will reach users of Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus and Workspace Individual progressively in the next two weeks.
