In addition to being extremely fine by canons foldables (It’s almost the same size as a regular smartphone; for comparison, a Galaxy Z Fold6 measures 12.1mm) the Magic V3 is a considerably more mature phone than its predecessor. The body, for example, incorporates some kind of composite material that increases impact resistance by 40 times, while the steel hinge is rated for 500,000 folding cycles. The whole thing is also IPX8 water resistant.
The inner display also appears to have seen improvements in terms of durability. While it uses a flexible panel (and is therefore much less tough than the outer display), it has the added protection of what Honor describes as an “anti-scratch nanoglass shield,” which increases its resistance to everyday wear and tear.

Speaking specifically of the screens, the Magic V3 provides 6.43 inches on its outer face and a 7.92-inch internal panel that, as usual, can be used fully unfolded, almost like a pocket tablet, or partially folded. Underneath it hides a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, very much in line with the latest flagships, although with an advantage over some of its rivals by offering a larger capacity battery.
Finally, the camera stands out for incorporating a telephoto lens with stabilized periscopic optics that provides 3.5x lossless zoom (100x digital). Like the rest of the sensors, it benefits from camera software with abundant AI processing options.
Now available in Spain for pre-order, the RRP of the Honor Magic V3 is 1,999 euros. It is a very considerable amount, but at launch it will be offered with a 300 euro discount coupon, a 66 W fast charger, a Magic Pen stylus for taking notes and 6 months of screen protection, as well as an Honor Watch 4.
