September 4 (Portaltic/EP) –

Acer has announced the new TravelMate P6 14 AI laptop, which weighs less than 1 kilogram, features the latest Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors and will arrive next January for a price starting at 1,349 euros.

The technology firm has presented its new products at IFA Berlin and at its next@acer conference, where it also showed the Swift Copilot+ PC laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) and two gaming monitors, among other products.

In the notebook segment, Acer has highlighted the new TravelMate P6 14 AI, a Copilot+ PC with an integrated NPU that offers up to 120 TOPS of total platform AI performance in a compact carbon fiber chassis.

Featuring a variety of Intel Core Ultra (2-Series) chips, these PCs come with a 14-inch WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) or WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display, depending on the model, as well as a 16:10 aspect ratio and 400 nits brightness.

Graphics-wise, it runs on Intel Arc and has up to 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5X SDRAM memory, as well as up to 1TB SSDM storage. It also has a 65Wh four-cell lithium-ion battery, with a 14-hour battery life and supports fast charging.

SWIFT COPILOT+ LAPTOPS

The brand has also announced the Swift Copilot+ devices, also equipped with the latest Intel processors, which feature new increased performance capabilities thanks to AI and the integrated NPU. However, the Acer Swift14 IA and Swift14 Go IA versions have also been presented with AMD Ryzen ai 9 365 processors in the case of the former and the 8-core Snapdragon X Plus models in the case of the latter.

The Acer Swift 14 AI and Swift 16 AI, which do include Intel’s latest chips, are two aluminum-made computers with 180-degree hinges and touch-enabled OLED panels. These have a resolution of up to 3K (2K for the 14-inch model, too) with high color accuracy and EyeSafe eye protection.

In terms of storage, they have 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 memory and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD for synergistic performance in different applications and conditions. They also guarantee connections via WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, as well as HDMI 2.1 and two USB-C ports.

These devices also come with specifications such as Intel Arc graphics and tools such as Acer Assist, PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0. AI experiences for Copilot+ PCs will also be available for free starting in November.

ACER ICONIA AND NEW PROJECTORS

Apart from laptops, the brand has also presented other products related to imaging and for the home, such as the Acer Iconia X12 and new eco-friendly LED projectors from the Vero line.

The tablet, meanwhile, has a 12.6-inch AMOLED display, with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It also has a front (8MP) and rear (13MP) camera, as well as a 10,000mAh battery that supports fast charging.

It also has a weight of about 600 grams and comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and an 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM configuration. Its storage is UFS of 128 and 256 GB. This space can be expanded up to 1 TB with microSD.

On the other hand, the brand has said that the new Acer Vero PD2 series projectors are equipped with the latest Gen 4 LED light source, which improves brightness by up to 18.5 percent compared to previous models.

Acer Vero PD2328 is available with a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and 3,700 lumens of brightness, while Acer Vero PD2528ic features a FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio and 3,200 ANSI lumens.

Both also incorporate other technologies designed to enhance color, such as Acer ColorPurity+, ColorBoostLED and ColorSafe II, which offer uniform and natural tones. In addition, they come with BluelightShield, which mitigates the negative effects of possible exposure to blue light and helps protect your eyesight.

Another notable technology is Acer EcoProjection, which helps save on energy consumption and replacement costs. The devices also automatically enter Eco mode and dim the light source to 60 percent power when no input signal is detected. If no activity is detected, they turn off for safety.
