September 3 (Portaltic/EP) –
WhatsApp is working on support for maintaining voice conversations with the artificial intelligence assistant Meta AI within your messaging service.
The technology company is seeking to expand user interaction with its chatbot, which it is currently testing in some countries in America. The goal is that, in addition to write your questionsthey can also formulate your requests using voice commands.
This means that in a future update, WhatsApp will allow you to keep a voice conversation with Meta AI, which will make searching for information more fluid and natural within the messaging app.
This new feature, currently in development, has appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.24.18.18 and, as shared by the specialized portal WABetainfothe voice ‘chat’ with Meta AI will have a shortcut and can be activated manually within the list of ‘chats’. The ‘chatbot’, on the other hand, will respond with one of the available voices that the user has previously selected.
