One of the hottest topics of the week has been the PlayStation 5 Pro, with recent reports claiming that its reveal is imminent. Gamers believe that one of the industry’s top creatives leaked the system and confirmed its existence ahead of Sony’s official announcement.
We are referring to Hideo Kojima, who is currently working on Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and other projects. The developer shared an image showing him doing some tests with the long-awaited sequel that is still in development for PlayStation 5.
The interesting thing is a detail that immediately captured the attention of the players, as Kojima is running the game in a mysterious devicewhich he preferred to hide under a black cloth. The players are convinced that it is the PlayStation 5 Pro development kit.

Hideo Kojima is apparently already working on the PlayStation 5 Pro

While doing so, he takes notes that he sends to the development team so they can make the necessary adjustments based on his proposals.
Players awaiting the sequel were excited by Kojima’s comment, but there was another detail that also raised their hype: the system where the creative is playing is hidden for some reason that everyone is unaware of.
Because of this, many speculated that it is a PlayStation 5 Pro development kit, since otherwise the creative would not have the need to hide the hardware as regularly happens in his photographs.
Tom Hendersona prominent journalist and industry insider, isn’t so convinced, saying that the PlayStation 5 Pro’s development kit looks exactly like the original console’s, so there’s no special reason to hide it. He believes Kojima hid it because of “the mystery” that always surrounds development kits and for no other reason.
Despite the above, fans of the creative are convinced that he is trying Death Stranding 2: On the Beach on the rumored more powerful version of Sony’s console. If the system is confirmed, it makes perfect sense that the sequel would be one of the titles enhanced to take full advantage of its technology.
According to leaks this week, the PlayStation 5 Pro will be revealed sometime in the first half of September. At the time of writing, Sony has not confirmed the hardware’s existence.
