Instagram will allow users to share songs heard on Spotify in real time in Notes

Aug. 28 (Portaltic/EP) –

Spotify and Meta are working on a new integration that will allow users of the streaming music service to share the songs they are listening to on Instagram in real time.

Instagram users can currently share a song that they’re listening to on Apple Music or Spotify as a story or in a post. They can manually add songs to Notes.

The new integration that Meta and Spotify are working on will allow the continuous sharing of the songs that the user is listening to, as the reverse engineering expert has anticipated Alessandro Paluzzi in Threads.

This integration will require linking the Instagram account to Spotify, and will show, through Notes, the songs that the user is listening to on Spotify, in real time.

Notes first appeared in the direct message inbox and later made the jump to profiles, where users can leave short, ephemeral messages for their friends and followers.
