Actress Christina Applegate, 52, revealed that the only plastic surgery she ever had was to remove bags under her eyes, a fact she regrets.
Applegate, who rose to fame on the hit sitcom “Married with Children,” said she resorted to the scalpel decades ago when A “very famous” TV boss told her that the bags under her eyes were “too big” and caused problems in lighting his face on set.
She told this to Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the 43-year-old former actress of ‘The Sopranos’, on her podcast ‘Messy’.
“I was on a show and one of the producers, a very famous one who also did a very famous show, said to me, ‘Hey, we’re having a lot of trouble highlighting under your eyes. In the latest episode of her podcast MeSsy, which she shares with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, she revealed that her illness has led her to question her own existence.
In June she said she was not “enjoying life” and was mired in “depression.”
However, the actress later clarified that she was fine and was not “on suicide watch” despite having “complicated thoughts.”
“I’m in depression right now, and I don’t think I’ve felt that in years. It’s like a real, fucking depression, which kind of scares me because it feels really fatalistic. I’m stuck in this darkness right now, and I haven’t felt that way in probably 20 years,” said Applegate, 52.
