Discord for Xbox will allow you to view other players' streams

The chat social network application Discord will soon be updated so that users can watch other users’ streams directly from the console manufactured by Microsoft, Xbox.

The company has announced through a statement a series of new features with which it seeks to make the Xbox user experience “even better”, which have already begun to be implemented among the Xbox Insiders Program Participants and will be launched globally in the upcoming weeks.

After enabling the feature that allows Xbox console players to stream their games directly to Discord servers, the platform has announced that users will be able to watch their friends’ streams on their consoles. That’s regardless of whether they’re sharing their screen from a PC, mobile device, or another console. Xbox Series X|S either Xbox One.

This means that if players are sharing the ‘stream’ of their games the button will be displayed ‘Watch broadcast’ so that others can watch it live from one of the consoles that Microsoft makes.

Discord has also announced that it will also be possible to call other Discord friends directly from the Xbox. To do this, you have to access any active voice channel or contact another social network user directly from the console.
