Step by step to know who sees your profile on TikTok
To find out who visits your TikTok profile, you must activate the profile view history in your account settings. To do this, follow these steps:
- In the TikTok app, tap Profile on the bottom.
- Click the button Menu (you recognize it because it is three horizontal lines at the top right of the profile) at the top and then, Settings and privacy.
- Press Privacy and then Profile views.
- Activate the option Profile Viewing History.
This way, whenever someone visits your profile, TikTok will send you a notification. Only accounts that also have this feature enabled and have viewed your profile in the last 30 days will be shown in your profile view history. If you visit another account’s profile and that user also has this option enabled, they will be able to see that you have visited their profile, whether it is a public or private account.
You can disable this feature using the same guide, but instead of authorizing viewing, you have to deny it in the last step.
Where can I see who viewed my profile?
One way is to enter directly through the notification that TikTok sends, but if you want to do it at any other time, you can do it in two simple steps:
- Enter your profile
- Go to “profile views”, it’s the logo on the left side of the settings at the top right of the screen.
What happens if my account is private but I have profile viewing enabled?
In this case, if both users have the viewing feature enabled, they will receive a notification that someone has viewed their profile; however, when they enter the private account, they will not be able to see their posts.
