MAX standard quarterly plan will rise 25% in Mexico

The increase is 25% for the service, a figure that far exceeds the general inflation recorded in the first half of July of 5.61%, according to data from Inegi.

“Your Standard Quarterly Plan currently priced at 399 pesos will increase to 499 (plus applicable taxes) starting on your next billing date on or after August 23. If you currently have a promotional offer, the price will increase at the end of the promotional period,” says the message that the company has sent to its customers.

This is not the first time that MAX and other streaming companies in the country have raised their prices in recent months.

In 2023, the price of the standard plan was 179 pesos per month or 1,249 pesos per year.
