However, several people also posted that when they tried to redeem the offer, they received an error message stating that the gift card had been cancelled by the issuing party and was therefore no longer valid.

It’s worth noting that the gift card initiative was confirmed by CrowdStike spokesperson Kevin Benacci, who told TechCrunch that they were working to fix the issues for those unable to use the card, explaining that it was because “Uber flagged them as fraud due to high usage rates.”
