XII SNIP Network Seminar

The Network of National Public Investment Systems of Latin America and the Caribbean (SNIP Network), with the participation of the directors of the SNIPs of 16 countries in the region, with the support of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ILPES-ECLAC), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), is an instance of multilateral collaboration that seeks to strengthen the quality of investments in the region.

This year, the Seminar will cover important topics for public investment management, such as monitoring and follow-up systems, experiences of linking budget management and public investment systems, and the inclusion of the gender and climate change perspective in public investment. The Seminar will also include a practical workshop on prioritizing investments with climate change criteria within the framework of the Regional Climate Change Platform of the Ministries of Finance, Economy and Treasury.
