WhatsApp has launched a new feature favorite contacts with which users will be able to select those people and groups What matters most to them and which they use the most, to place them in the top of the calls tab or as an option of filter for chats.
The instant messaging platform owned by Meta continues to implement new features to improve the user experience in the ‘app’, in this case, with the intention of facilitate access to the chats and calls of the people with whom they communicate the most on a daily basis.
In this sense, WhatsApp has launched the favorites functionwhich will allow users to “focus on their favorite contacts much more easily” as they will be located at the top of the calls tab, or displayed through the favorites filter for chats.
Through its WhatsApp channel and through a blog post of the platform, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has noted that, Whether it’s a family group chat or a conversation between best friendsthe contacts selected as Favorites will be the same in chats and calls.
For Add favorite contacts from the chats tabit will be enough to select the ‘Favorites’ filter and choose the contacts or groups that you want to add. Likewise, from the Calls tabyou must click on the ‘Add favorite’ option and select the contacts or groups in question.
Users can also Manage your favorites from the app settingsthrough ‘Settings’ and the ‘Favorites’ tab, from where they can add new favorite contacts or reorder them at any time.
