Spanish listed companies distributed 19.575 billion euros among their shareholders in the first half of the year, which is 34.2% more than in the same period in 2023, according to statistics from the Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets (BME).
In addition, it is the highest volume in the last six years for a first half of the year, following the historical series of the stock exchange operator.
In June alone, payments amounted to €1.97 billion, an increase of 28.6% compared to the same month in 2023.
Spanish listed companies will distribute around 5.6 billion euros among their shareholders in July alone, with payments from Endesa, Repsol, ACS and Iberdrola standing out.
Among the payments to come are those from Vidrala, which will distribute 12.5 million euros next Monday; ACS, which will pay a dividend of 422 million euros on Wednesday; Clínica Baviera, which will pay a total of 25 million euros on Thursday, July 18; Acerinox, which will pay a total dividend of 77.2 million euros on Friday, July 19; or Iberdrola, which will pay a total of 2,235 million to its shareholders on July 29; and Neinor, which will close the month with a payment of 37.4 million.
