Fans of the franchise will only have to wait a few months to enjoy The Karate Kid: Street Rumble. Odaclick Game Studio announced that it will be available next September 20 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
According to the details, the game will take place in iconic locations from the franchise’s three classic films. It will be set in 1980 and will feature 12 levels in total. You will be able to play with iconic characters such as Daniel Russo, Mr. Miyagi, Kumiko and Ali Mills.
Antagonists that fans know well have also been confirmed, such as Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese, Terry Silver and more. The title will have a simple combat system based on popular beat ’em up classics. So combos and special moves will be able to be executed to take down enemies and bosses in each level.
Fans will be able to roam around Topanga Beach, West Valley High, Cobra Kai Dojo and other locations while listening to a chiptune soundtrack full of retro vibes. Lastly, we know that the game will feature local co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players. You can watch a trailer below:
