A new member of the Logitech wireless gaming mouse family arrives under the name Logitech G309 Lightspeed.

This mouse integrates its well-known HERO 25K optical sensor with 25,600 DPI resolution along with the 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity technology that Logitech calls Lightspeed. The sensor promises a movement detection capacity of 400 inches per second.

This is a model capable of operating for 300 hours with a polling rate of 1,000 Hz using a single AA battery. This means that it does not include a battery and we will have to use interchangeable batteries. However, it is also compatible with the Logitech Powerplay, a mouse pad capable of operating the mouse wirelessly using a coil system. Thus, by removing the AA battery, 18 grams of weight is saved from the 86 g it has with the battery installed.

If you use Bluetooth connectivity, the battery life is doubled and you can play for 600 hours with a single battery.

The Logitech G309 Lightspeed uses hybrid switches on its two main buttons. This is a faster and more durable optical solution, but with the feel of a mechanical switch.

Its price is 94.99 euros and it is already available in Spain in white or black.
