Sharkoon’s PureWriter line of low-profile mechanical keyboards has welcomed a new member named Sharkoon PureWriter W65. This is a compact 65% TKL model (i.e. with a 65% reduction in keycaps leaving it around 68-69 keys depending on the layout (ANSI/ISO respectively)), which uses low-profile mechanical switches. They feature per-key RGB lighting and have a tactile response with an actuation force of 45 g (with deviations of +- 10 g). The switch sends the signal to the PC when a distance of 1.3 mm is traveled (with a margin of +- 0.3 mm). Each switch Kailh Choc V2 promises a lifespan of at least 50 million hours.

With these switches, the keyboard remains with dimensions of 31.2 x 10.3 cm long x wide, along with a height of only 2.58 centimeters.

The connectivity of the Sharkoon PureWriter W65 is wireless via 2.4 GHzit also includes USB-C with a connector on the left side that serves both for charging and for direct use with a cable. With a full charge, its 2,000 mAh battery promises 30 hours of use.

Its price is 89.90 euros in the European marketalthough it seems that, at least for now, it will only be sold with the German and Belgian distributions
