What do users think?

“I am at a crossroads. Until now I had Prime and Disney+ separately, but with what Meli+ now offers, I am considering whether it is worth changing or paying for both. I don’t know why I liked having Disney+ without ads,” says Javier García, who has been paying for his Prime subscription for approximately three years.

For Ana Gómez, who recently moved to live alone, the alternative was to hire Meli+. She defines herself as a frequent user of Mercado Libre, so saving on shipping and additionally having access to streaming It seems like “a good deal” to him.

“I do not pay any subscription to services streaming “I don’t consume them that much, but every now and then I feel like watching a movie. Since I already use Mercado Libre a lot, Meli+ suits me,” he said.

Leo Luna is a user of both services and says that he hired Meli+ because it combines Disney+ and Star+ at a price that he considered attractive. However, he prefers Amazon’s service, because in the case of Mercado Libre -he says- not all shipments are free, but rather depend on the user level and products.

“I forget that I have Meli+. I am very aware and I am very aware that I have Prime. It is like Amazon reminds you all the time and Mercado Libre doesn’t, but it is completely a personal preference,” she adds.

Finally, Samatha Reyes, who also has both subscriptions, believes that from the consumer’s perspective, including different services for a single payment is beneficial.

“It’s good for us as consumers, I don’t know if it’s the same for the competition, but at least for those of us who buy it means paying less and getting more. That’s how I see it,” he concluded.
