The German audio company beyerdynamic has launched its new headphones aimed at gamers beyerdynamic MMX 300 PRO. These are headband headphones with an attached microphone that have two drivers “Stella.45” of the company.
They promise a professional “studio” sound but adapted and adjusted to the sound for games. The drivers promise a frequency response from 5 Hz to 10 Hz. 40,000 Hz, with a sound pressure of 94 dB. They are capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 18 dBA with their closed design.
These drivers offer a reduced impedance of 48 Ohms and allow their use with all types of devices without the need for specific amplifiers. The company ensures compatibility with PC, Xbox, Switch and PlayStation thanks to a Y-shaped adapter for use with these consoles.
Connectivity is via minijack, with one minijack for audio and another for the microphone (or combined with the adapter). Specifically, the microphone has a cardioid design with an electret-type condenser with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz with a sound pressure of 121 dB. All this in headphones weighing 314 grams.
Of course, its price will not be cheap, beyerdynamic MMX 300 PRO They are already available in Europe, through specialist shops and also on Amazon, for a price of 299 euros. Various replacement parts and padded pads can be purchased separately.
They can be configured online through the MANUFAKTUR platform to personalize them by hand with the design or logo of your choice.
