MSI has announced its new monitor MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED. This is an evolution of the MSI MPG 341CQP QD-OLED that we saw at the EHA Tech Tour 2023. If that model stayed at 175 Hz frequency, this one jumps to 240 Hz, maintaining a 34-inch Quantum Dot OLED panel with a curvature radius of 1,800R.
This is an Ultrawide display in 21:9 format with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and gray-to-gray response times of 0.03 ms. It has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and also KVM mode inputs to control two PCs with the same keyboard and mouse connected to the monitor’s USB ports. It includes a USB-C with DP and 98 W power delivery to charge laptops or devices connected to that port.
It complies with VESA DisplayHDR Ture Black 400 and ClearMR 13000 certification. Its maximum brightness in SDR is only 250 nits, but with HDR it can reach peaks of 1000 nits in 3% of its pixels, and up to 450 nits with 10% of the screen.
Naturally, it is compatible with FreeSync with a refresh rate ranging from 48 Hz to 240 Hz.
