Several military horses escaped again this Monday and ran through central London in what is the second similar incident that has occurred since April.
Three animals have escaped from the barracks of the Household Cavalry Regiment during an exercise on Monday morning, the Ministry of Defence has reported.
The horses have been recovered “quickly and safely” and have returned to Hyde Park Barracks thanks to the intervention of military and Metropolitan Police officers. One of the horses has a minor injury and no one is injured.
On April 24, four other horses escaped after being scared by a loud noise in Belgravia. The animals collided with several vehicles, including a typical London double-decker bus.
