The Russian authorities confirmed this Sunday the death of a four-year-old girl as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone near the town of Novoe, located in the Russian region of Belgorod, near the border with Ukraine.
“Ukrainian armed forces are once again attacking civilians. Near the village of Novoe in the Volokonovsky district, a moving car was attacked by a drone. A family of five was traveling in the car: grandparents, spouses and their son. The worst has happened: a 4-year-old girl died from her injuries,” Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
The rest of the passengers have received shrapnel wounds, and the girl’s grandfather is in serious condition after being hit in the abdomen.
Attacks have continued in the rest of the region, with property damage reported in the towns of Murom, Arjangelskoye, Pervomaiski, Glotovo, Graivoronski and Spodariushino; In some of the places there have been electricity outages due to the bombings.
