Among the twenty injured, ten are in serious condition, according to the authorities.
The small restaurant was severely damaged by the explosion which Torbali Mayor Obunc Demir said was due to a problem with a pipe.
Local authorities preventively cut off the gas on the street where the explosion took place and where several buildings were damaged by the explosion.
