The Israeli Armed Forces have reported the death of “numerous terrorists” killed in military operations in recent hours and refers specifically to the Gazan neighborhood of Sheyaiya (north), Rafá (south) and the Netzarim Corridor, in the center of the enclave.
The Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, have reported that they have attacked Israeli soldiers with a bomb planted in the Shejaiya neighborhood. Specifically, they claim that they have launched a mortar projectile against a concentration of Israeli military vehicles that entered the neighborhood.
In Shejaiya, “numerous terrorists” have died in shootouts with members of the 98th Division, which has located a weapons warehouse in a school. In addition, Israeli drones have bombed several cells of armed militiamen who were preparing attacks against the troops.
Meanwhile, in Rafá, troops from the 162nd Division have killed several militiamen and the Air Force has bombed several targets of “terrorist groups”, including several tunnels.
Finally, in the Netzarim Corridor, the forces of the 99th Division killed several more “terrorists” with machine gun fire and by calling in air support. Also in central Gaza, they destroyed an anti-tank missile launch site.
